This week, the rich got richer and the poor got poorer. At one point, there were 6 teams in the negatives, with the Drivens and the Furinkazan the only ones in the positives. the EX Furinkazan (2/1/1/0 this week) was the top gainer this week, earning 123.8 points this week. The Drivens (2/0/1/1 this week), who were 1st coming into this week, maintained their top status and gained 75.7 points. Not to be left out of the top gainers this week is the Konami Mahjong Fight Club (2/0/2/0 this week), who, despite only going from 8th to 7th, earned 65.6 points, bringing them closer to the main pack.

The biggest dropper this week are the Sega Sammy Phoenix (0/1/1/2 this week), losing 105.5 points and dropping from 3rd to 5th. Despite not moving rank, the Pirates (0/2/0/2) went -56.7 points this week.

It is also interesting to note that the difference between 2nd and 3rd is bigger than the difference between 3rd and 8th.

Well, the first month of M-League is done! We’ve got 18 more weeks left in the regular season. Will the EX Furinkazan forge a path forward? Can the Sega Sammy Phoenix stop their slump? Will we see our first yakuman? We will know next month in November!
