Standings
The top performer this week is the EX Furinkazan. Already being at the top of the standings, the team increased their margin, led primarily this week by Takizawa Kazunori. This is the team’s 2nd week having a positive weekly performance.
The 2nd best performer this week is the Sega Sammy Phoenix. Trying to claw their way out of the bottom of the standings, they made some ground with a +30.4 performance this week. This is their second week in a row of having a positive performance.
The Kadokawa Sakura Knights take third spot, slowly making their way forward with a +10.0 performance. This is the 3rd week in a row of positive performances, this week being led by Uchikawa, who went +28.2 this week.
4th in the rankings and the last riser this week is the Shibuya Abemas. Despite having a better record this week than the Sega Sammy Phoenix and the Kadokawa Sakura Knights, they Abemas only earned +6.5 points due to an unfortunate loss by Shiratori on Christmas day.
Heading into the droppers, the Akasaka Drivens place 5th this week, losing -2.2 points this week but moving back up to 5th place. The only 1st from the team was from Suzuki Taro, who had his first 1st since week 3. This is the teams 6th week in a row with negative results.
6th on our list is the U-Next Pirates. Kobayashi continues his 4th place free streak, but the team as a whole continues to stall. This is the team’s 3rd week with a downward trend.
Next is the Konami Mahjong Fight Club. The day before Christmas, the demon king (Sasaki) was beat hard, the incredible reversal where the player at the bottom of the standings beats out the player at the top of the standings. There was a bright spot in the week, however, with Takamiya winning her first game since week 4. This is their 2nd week in a row with a negative performance.
And finally, we have Team Raiden being the worst performer this week. Despite an incredible Christmas miracle performance from Hagiwara, both Kurosawa and Setokuma posted scores in the deep negatives in their games. After this week’s performance the team dropped down to 6th place.
