Standings
Proving why they’re on the top of the standings, the Shibuya Abemas are the top team this week in the performance standings with a 3-1-0-0 record and +195.0 this week. Over the past three weeks, they have gone 6-4-1-1 and earned 377.8pts. At this point, it is almost certain that the Abemas will make it to the playoffs and will be trying to get more points for the start of the semis. They will also try to take advantage of the more reckless plays of the teams at the bottom of the standings and capitalize on it. This is their 5th week in a row of positive results.
The 2nd place team in this weeks performance rankings is the Sega Sammy Phoenix. It'[s a small but positive step for the team in order to get to a playoff spot. Especially against the Pirates, they were able to beat them in 3 of their 4 matchups. This is the team’s 2nd week in a row with a positive week.
The Konami Mahjong Fight Club takes the 3rd spot in the rankings. After going below 0 last week, they made their way back to the positives this week. They they are in a nice position for a playoff spot, they are only a few 4ths away from falling out.
Heading into the droppers this week, the Akasaka Drivens place 4th in this week’s performance rankings. The Drivens continue to struggle, and Maruyama not being there doesn’t help with the team morale. This is the 7th week in a row that the Drivens have had with negative results.
Kadokawa Sakura Knights place 5th in this week’s performance rankings. The team is in a precarious position, right on the edge of dropping out of a playoff spot. This is the team’s third week of negative results.
6th in the weekly performance rankings is the U-Next Pirates. Still unable to get out of the rut, they slip further and further away from a playoff spot. There is a bit of hope in the horizon, however. 16 out of their next 28 games will be against the 7th place Phoenix and against the 6th place Sakura Knights (8 games with both of them together, 8 game with just the Sakura Knights and 8 games with just the Phoenix). If they do well against both of them, they can just squeeze into a playoff spot. This is the 6th week in a row that the Pirates have lost points.
EX Furinkazan come 7th in the performance rankings this week. Being 2nd in the overall standings dulls the pain a bit. The team has a very good chance this week to make the playoffs, but aren’t out of the woods yet. They just need to win a few more games to basically confirm a spot in the semis.
And finally, placing last in the performance rankings, we have Team Raiden. After placing 1st in last week’s performance rankings, they nearly erased all of their work last week and drop from 3rd to 4th.
This Week’s M-League Stats

The top of the rankings is pretty much set in stone, but the bottom of the rankings are them most improtant and most exciting part! What will happen over the next few weeks? As always, we’ll just have to wait and see!
