M-League 2021 Week 10: Hidden Treasure

Standings

For the first time, the U-Next Pirates take top spot in the performance rankings. Asakura’s continued success and Mizuhara’s surprise win carried the team for their 3rd positive week in a row. Even Kobayashi’s bold pushes helped keep him from falling to 3rd in his game, minimizing the point loss. With a 2/1/1/0 record and a +86.0 gain, the team gets back into the positives and moves into 4th place.

The Sega Sammy Phoenix take 2nd place in the performance rankings. The streak continues for the team, recording their 16th straight game avoiding last place. A strong 2nd place from Kondo and a first by Uotani got the team most of the points. With the 1/2/1/0 record and +72.8 point gain, the team moves closer and closer to getting above 0 and records their 4th positive week in a row.

In 3rd place are the Kadokawa Sakura Knights. The team’s ability to avoid getting last place and a strong 1st from Sawazaki helped the team earn a sizeable positive score. With the 1/2/1/0 record and +62.5 gain, the team moves to 3rd place overall.

The Konami Mahjong Fight Club take the next spot. Even though Date got her first 4th of the season, a 1st place from a struggling Takamiya helped the team stay positive. Though they only gained +26.3 from the week’s 1/2/0/1 performance, the team continues to move closer to 1st place overall.

The last positive gainer of the week are the Akasaka Drivens. Murakami is continuing to play well and a 40,000+ 2nd place from Taro helped get the team have a positive week. With an even 1/1/1/1 record and a nice +6.9 gain, the team moves a bit closer to the rest of the teams.

The Shibuya Abemas are the first negative team in this week’s performance rankings. Struggles continue for Hinata, but the support from her other team mates helped lessen the blow. The 1/0/2/1 record and -43.7 loss dropped the team down a few places to 5th place, though they still have a positive score.

Team Raiden takes 7th spot. It was nice while it lasted. They were positive last week and this week they’re back to dropping again. Three 4ths this week, with Kurosawa getting a 1st on her second game to redeem herself. The 1/0/0/3 record and -77.7 moves them further away from all the other teams and they are quite close to breaking the lowest score record of all time.

And finally, placing 8th in the performance rankings, we have the EX Furinkazan. It was one of those weeks for the EX Furinkazan, with Rumi’s 2nd place tie being the only thing that helped the team to save face. The 0/1/1/2 record and -133.1 loss dropped the team quite a bit, but the team remains in 1st place.
