Standings
The top team this week is the Sega Sammy Phoenix. After being in the negatives since Week 5, the team has broken through and is now in the positives. The RioMin pair managed to get two 1sts this week and helped the team get a 2/0/2/0 record and a gain of +97.9 this week. The team extends their 4th place avoidance streak to 24 games, winning their 1st week and move up to 5th place with a total score of +18.3.
Next are the Konami Mahjong Fight Club. The TakiHisa pair was able to get a big double 1st on their competition day, pushing the team to 1st place for the first time in M-League history. With a 2/1/0/1 record and getting +84.1 points, the team confidently takes top spot.
Team Raiden makes progress as the 3rd best team of the week. Breaking their continued losing streak, a 1st by Kurosawa and some solid 2nds got the team some points to take his 3rd positive week this season. With a 1/2/1/0 record and a +65.4 gain, the Team moves a bit closer to 7th place.
The 4th gainer this week is the U-Next Pirates. Despite a rough start from Ishibashi’s loss at the start of the week, the rest of the team came through with some 2nds, culminating in a 1st place on Kobayashi’s 100th regular season game to break his slump. With the team’s 1/2/0/1 record and +20.6 point gain, the team moves up to 3rd place
Akasaka Drivens are the last gainer of the week. The highlight of the week is definitely Sonoda’s win in his 100th regular season game. With the 1/1/1/1 record an +2.5 point gain, the team marks their 3rd week in a row being positive and moves closer to the positives
Going into the negatives, the Shibuya Abemas take 6th place in the performance rankings. Two losses at the start of the week put a damper on the team’s progress and put them in the negatives briefly. Though Ooi got a 1st and 2nd to end off the week, the team still ended the week losing points. With a 1/1/0/2 record and -22.3 loss, the team sits in 4th place with a total score of 33.8.
In 7th in the performance rankings are the Kadokawa Sakura Knights. Unable to get a 1st or a 2nd this week, the team lost a lot of ground in the highly competitive middle section of the standings. With the 0/0/3/1 record and -109.5 point loss, the team move sharply down, going from 3rd place all the way down to 6th.
And, for the 3rd week in a row, the EX Furinkazan are last in the performance rankings. 17 games without a 1st, the team has fallen out of 1st place for the first time since Game #20. RumiAki failed to beat Takihisa and two 4ths to end the week hurt the team. With a 0/1/1/2 record and -138.7 point loss, the team goes down to 2nd place.
