Standings
This week’s top performer is the Shibuya Abemas. Going on a 14-game 4th place avoidance streak and starting out the week with three wins in a row, the team the uncomfortable 6th place position and moved all the way up to 2nd place. This week, they gained +164.0 points and had a record of 3/0/1/0.
Next up we have the Akasaka Drivens. The streak continues for the Akasaka Drivens to help the team out of the hole. This time, the whole team went out and everyone got either a 1st or a 2nd. With their +151.1 gain and 2/2/0/0 record, they bring themselves to -36.3, just a win away from getting to the positives, something they haven’t done since Week 2.
U-Next Pirates had the 3rd-best performance this week. The week started out with a painful last after Asakura dealt into a haneman after he called riichi on a sanmenchan a turn earlier. However, with the help of captain Kobayashi and MVP Mizuhara, the team gained back those points and go a few more. With the +39.5 gain and 1/2/0/1 record, the team gets their 3rd positive week in a row, holds onto 1st place and increases their lead and getting to 300.0+ for the first time in the team’s history.
Going into the negatives, the Konami take 4th place in the performance rankings. It was a TakiHisa week with decent results, getting three 2nds and a difficult 4th from Hisato. With the Drivens getting good results this week and Konami losing -16.1 and a record of 0/3/0/1, Konami MFC is now in danger of dropping down to 7th.
5th are the Kadokawa Sakura Knights. Hori and Uchikawa had some struggles this week, but Sawazaki helped save the team from great loss by getting a 1st and moving into 1st place in the individual standings. This week, the team lost -34.6 and had a record of 1/0/2/1, holding onto their 4th place in the overall standings.
6th are the EX Furinkazan. After breaking their streak last week, the EX Furinkazan fall again w ith their 6th negative week in the past 7. They were unable to get a 1st this week and ended up with a loss of -74.8 and a record of 0/1/2/1.
Sega Sammy Phoenix are 7th in the performance rankings. After being the top performer for two weeks in a row, the Sega Sammy Phoenix go negative for two weeks in a row and erase the gains they got on week 13. This week, they dropped -80.1 points and had a record of 1/0/1/2.
Team Raiden. 6 weeks in a row of negative results, 13 negative weeks in their last 15. 3rds from Honda and Hagiwara and a rare double 4th for Kurosawa to end the week, the team continues to struggle.With the -149.0 loss an 0/0/2/2, the team now has a total of -865.0, the lowest score in M-League history by far.
