Even as M-League takes a short break for the holidays, the action never stops! During this break, ABEMA TV will be broadcasting three special M-League programs. Today, we’ll look at what M-league has in store for us to end off 2023 and into the new year.
Nissin x M-League: Strongest Alien Deciding Match

Find out who is the strongest alien in M-League! In this special collaboration between Nissin Foods and M-League to promote their donbei instant noodles, these four aliens will face off against each other in a single match to see who is the strongest.

M-League 2023 End of Year Special

Take a look back at the 2023 with our commentators (Hiyoshi Tatsuya, Kobayashi Misa, Matsushima Momo and Tsuchida Kousho), reminiscing the M-League events of the past year and looking forward to what’s to come in 2024!
The M-league 2023 End of Year Special can be watched on ABEMA TV’s Mahjong Channel on December 31 starting at 11:00 PM and will go on for an hour (until midnight). For those outside of Japan, a VPN may be required to watch it.
Pro Baseball New Year’s Mahjong Exchange Tournament

To start the new year off right, Daiwa Connect Securites (大和コネクト証券) has sponsored a new tournament featuring baseball players and M-League personalities!
This tournament pits 10 Nihon Professional Baseball players from 7 different teams and 6 of your favourite M-League personalities against each other in this 2-day tournament.
Also involved in the tournament are 7 M-Leaguers, presumably as commentators as most of the regular commentators are participating in the tournament.

4 tables of 4 players each will play one game each, with the winner of each table advancing to the finals.
Day 1 games will start on January 1 at 7:00PM JST (VPN may be required) on ABEMA TV’s Mahjong Channel and will feature Tables A and B. The broadcast is expected to last until 11:00 PM JST.

Like the previous day, the broadcast is schedule to end at 11:00 PM JST.
