Awards Ceremony
After the games were done, viewers given a preview of some off-season events and the official documentaries coming out around the end of June. The wait for the awards ceremony lasted only about 10 minutes as the players were ferried from the M-League Studio to the Bellesalle Shiodome.

Hayashi Misaki, an announcer for TV Asahi, was the MC for the night. Handing out the awards is M-League Chairman Fujita Susumu.

First, they awarded the 4th Place Avoidance Award, the award given to the player with the best 4th place avoidance rate in the regular season. In reverse order, they named the top three:

After she finished her speech, she waved at fans as she walked down the aisle.

The next award was the Highest Hanchan Score Award, awarded to the player who had the highest score in a single hanchan.

After his speech, he did the Beast pose and bowed to the fans on both sides.

Finally, we have the MVP Award, the award given to the player that had the highest total score in the season.

After Daigo’s speech, he went down the aisle and gave high fives to the fans.
Final Standings
After the individual awards were given, each of the teams, in reverse order, came up onto the stage and one player gave a speech for the team.

In 9th place, with a score of -1143.6pts during the regular season, is the Beast X.

In 8th place, with a score of -751.3pts during the regular season, is the EX Fuinkazan.

In 7th place, with a score of -413.9pts during the regular season, are the Kadokawa Sakura Knights.

In 6th place, with a score of -206.0pts during the regular season and -625.5pts in the semifinals, is the Shibuya Abemas.

In 5th place, with a score of +208.0pts during the regular season and -84.5pts in the semifinals, are the Konami Mahjong Fight Club.

In 4th place, with a score of +330.3pts during the regular season, -9.9pts in the semifinals and -3.5pts in the finals, is Team Raiden.

In 3rd place and winning a 10 million yen prize, with a record-breaking score of +1115.5pts during the regular season, +714.8pts in the semifinals and +282.9pts in the finals, are the Akasaka Drivens

In 2nd place and winning a 20 million yen prize, with a score of +481.2pts during the regular season, +626.7pts in the semifinals and +288.6pts in the finals, are the U-Next Pirates

And finally, in 1st place and the M-League 2024-25 Champions we have the Sega Sammy Phoenix. As they walked down the aidle, they held their champioinship towel in the air. They finished with a score of +339.8pts in the regular season, +512.9pts in the semifinals and +354.4pts in the finals.

Fujita-chairman came onto the stage and handed it off to team captain Kayamori.
As the plate was handed off, confetti was realeased onto the stage.

Afterwards, Daigo accepted the 50 million yen grand prize cheque for the team.


After some photos were taken, each player was given a chance to give a short speech.

After the speeches, the four of them stepped aside and Fujita-chairman gave one more speech. He congratulated the Sega Sammy Phoenix on their first-ever championship and officially closed the M-League 2024-25 season.

In an M-League first, the team invited the outgoing coach Kondo Seiichi to join in on the proceedings.

They gave Kondo a chance to lift the championship plate…

…and he was even thrown into the air by the players and the rest of the team staff!

As the team held the cheque and championship plate…

…confetti dropped once more. With a wave goodbye, we said goodbye to the M-League 2024-25 season.
