This season was really a continuation of the joy that I felt last season. My U-Next Pirates won their second championship last season and they continued to do well this season. Up until the very end, they were in the mix.
This was also the first year that I worked on my Jelli Thoughts blog, where I finally got a chance to write down all my inner thoughts about M-League and some random extra articles about it.
Even with this extra work and extra challenge, I did have a lot of fun. Cheering on my favourite team, watching them break the curse and new rivalries that were formed.
And, as always, I made a lot of new friends from far and wide in the Discord server. From searching stats to a little trash talk, it’s always a lot of fun.
I can’t wait to see what’s in store for us next season!
M-League Watch Team
Five years ago, this site was launched as a pandemic project, something to kill time while we were all stuck at home with nothing to do.
Since then, the league and the community have grown. We have 9 teams in the league now, almost 450 members in the Discord server and the blog regularly gets over 100 views per day.
In our first year, we had the intense battle of the U-Next Pirates beating out the Sega Sammy Phoenix. This time around, we finally have the Sega Sammy Phoenix besting the U-Next Pirates. Congratulations on winning the championship! And to everyone who followed along with us, thank you all for your support. This wouldn’t have been possible without you.
And that’s all for the M-League 2024-25 Season! But, there’s still a lot more action in store for us. From the draft picks and predictions and the off-season tournaments, there’s still a lot of M-League to be had! How will everything turn out? As always, we’ll just have to wait and see!
