In E2-0, Aki is in 2nd place and is 6,200 behind 1st place Okada.

Aki starts out the hand with a solid 3-shanten hand with a secured red 5p and three ryanmens. By turn 2, she has a pair secured and is guaranteed pinfu. On turn 4, she advances to a ryanmen-ryanmen iishanten. After a bit of waiting, Aki gets to tenpai at the end of the second row and waits on a 25s ryanmen. On her very next turn, she draws the 2s and wins the hand. Hitting the uradora, Aki wins the hand with Riichi/Ippatsu/Tsumo/Pinfu/Aka 1/Ura 1 for 3,000/6,000, taking the lead.

In S2-0, Uchikawa is the dealer in 4th place after getting hit with a surprise mangan the previous hand. However, he is just 9,800 from 1st place, putting him within a dealer mangan of taking the lead.

Uchikawa starts out the hand at 4-shanten and has a red 5p for value. He discards terminals and honours in his first five turns, but a 789p sequence prevents him from pursuing all simples. He gets to 2-shanten at the end of the first row, but he is still missing a ryanmen for pinfu. In the middle of the second row, he makes a pair of 6m for iishanten, but is still looking for that good wait.

Across from her, 3rd place Okada is looking to make space. Having pinfu in her hand as well as a 567 sanshoku chance, she calls riichi first and waits on a 47s ryanmen, wanting the 7s for mangan minimum.

During the go-around, Uchikawa gets to tenpai, but it’s on a 4p kanchan with two already discarded. Uchikawa doesn’t really have time to wait and the 4p is safe against Okada, so Uchikawa calls a chasing riichi. The riichi is timed perfectly has he draws the 4p on his very next turn and wins the hand. Uchikawa wins the hand with Riichi/Ippatsu/Tsumo/Aka 1/Ura 2 for 6,000 all plus a riichi stick, instantly teleporting to 1st place.

Shortcut to Baiman

November 10, Game 2, S3-0
Video: https://abema.tv/video/episode/444-1_s5_p8019

In S3-0, Okada is in 4th place and is 12,100 behind 3rd place Honda.

Okada starts out the hand at 3-shanten for both standard and pairs, having an 8p triplet and pairs of 5p (including the red 5p) and 2m. As the first row goes along, she adds pairs of 6p and 8m to the mix, getting her to iishanten. However, she also has the flexibility to go standard if the 8m or 2m become a triplet.

To her left, Honda is also iishanten with value from a red 5s. Drawing a dora 4s at the start of the second row, Honda gets to tenpai and calls riichi on a 9m/6p shanpon.

During the ippatsu round, Okada makes a pair of 7p for tenpai. Going big, Okada calls riichi on a 4s tanki for haneman tenpai, needing only one booster for a baiman. Immediately after, Honda draws and discards the dora 4s, dealing into Okada and giving her that booster she needs. Okada wins the hand with Riichi/Ippatsu/Tanyao/Chiitoi/Dora 2/Aka 1 for 16,000 plus a riichi stick, moving into 2nd place.
