M-League 2025-26 Week 14: Chance

Standings

The top gainer this week is the Sega Sammy Phoenix. It was an incredible start for the team with Daigo getting a double duty daily double on Monday, a +116.9pts gain in a single day. On Thursday and Friday, the team was the biggest gainers on their table with a 1st place on each day (including a 79.600 1st by Kayamori). With their +291.4pts gain this week, the team moves up into the positives and up three ranks to 4th place

Also making big gains is the Kadokawa Sakura Knights. In all four of their games this week, the Sakura Knights gained points. On Tuesday, a daily double started with Okada and ended with Shibukawa’s 76,900 win, the team’s biggest score so far this season. On Thursday, a 1st and 2nd left them with a week’s total of +219.9pts, moving them out of 10th place and into 7th.

Team Raiden and the EX Furinkazan were the other gainers of the week. Avoiding 4th place in all four of their games, the team’s week was capped off with a 1st place by Hagiwara, pushing them up from 8th to 5th. For the EX Furinkazan, four positive games this week helped them keep them up in 1st place overall.

Losing points are the Konami Mahjong Fight Club, U-Next Pirates, Beast X, Shibuya Abemas and Earth Jets. Though the Fight Club ended with a 1st place, the two 4ths earlier caused the team to lose ground on the EX Furinkazan. The U-Next Pirates had a strong 61,600 1st place on Friday, but their three 4ths in the week made them drop from 6th to 9th. The Beast X were dow on Thursday and looked like they had hope on Friday with a Daisuke win, but he neded up with a heavy 4th the next game to lose all of it an more. The Shibuya returned to familiar territory with five 3rds this week to drop to 8th place. And the Earth Jets dropped down to 10th place after getting a doubl 4th on Thursday and couldn’t get a 1st place on Friday.

Finally, we have the Akasaka Drivens. The team played six games and couldn’t get a single 1st place. With their -179.8pts drop, they go down into the negatives and into 6th place.

And that’s all for this week! Just one more to go before we have a one week break. How will we end 2025? As always, we’ll just have to wait and see!
