In E1-0, Shimoishi starts out the hand securing a dora 3s to get to 2-shanten. On turn 2, he makes a 14p ryanmen to get to iishanten. After shifting a 13m block to a 345m sequence with a red 5m, Shimoishi get sto tenpai and calls riichi on the 14p ryanmen. Some of his opponents get to 2-shanten, but it’s not enough against the strong ryanmen. In the middle of the third row, Shimoishi draws the 1p and wins the hand. With his 7p pair being the uradora, Shimoishi wins with Riichi/Tsumo/Pinfu/Dora 1/Aka 1/Ura 2 for 3,000/6,000.

Taro starts out the hand at 3-shanten with only a lone, isolated 1m as value. In the first row, Taro makes a 789s sequence and good shapes, but only gets to 2-shanten. At the start of the second row, Taro makes a 46s shape. If he gets both the 5s and the 6p, he will have sanshoku. Two turns later, he gets the red 5s and calls riichi on a 36p ryanmen, with the 6p giving him a mangan. Taro wins with Riichi/Pinfu/Sanshoku/Aka 1 for 12,000+1,200.

On his fourth turn, he gets a 3m pair for pinfu guaranteed. At the end of the row, he makes a 789m iipeikou for tenpai and calls riichi on a 69s ryanmen.

Across from him, Kobayashi the dealer gets to iishanten on his next turn and holds a secured red 5s. On his next turn, he gets to tenpai and calls riichi on a 3p kanchan.

Kobayashi only has one winning tile while Kazuma has four. In the middle of Kazuma’s second row, he draws the 9s and wins the hand. With the 9s also being the uradora, Kazuma wins the hand with Riichi/Tsumo/Pinfu/Iipeikou/Aka 1/Ura 1 for 3,000/6,000 plus a riichi stick.

Futoshi starts out with a pair of easts to go along with his 6p dora pair. In the first row, Futoshi creates a 47m ryanmen and fills in a 4s kanchan to get to iishanten. Before the end of the row, he creates a 36s ryanmen, allowing her to discard his east pair for a guaranteed good wait.
In the second row, Futoshi completes a 567m sequence and calls riichi on a 36s ryanmen, with a 3s tsumo giving him a haneman. In the third row, he draws the 3s and wins the hand. Futoshi wins with Riichi/Tsumo/Pinfu/Iipeikou/Dora 2 for 6,000 all.

In S1-4, Miura is the dealer in 3rd place, 5,900 behind 2nd place Kobayashi and 14,700 behind 1st place Uchikawa. Two riichi sticks and four honba are in the pot, meaning that the next winner will get 3,200 in bonuses.
With his very first draw, Miura fills in a 6m kanchan and gets to iishanten. On turn 3, he guarantees himself pinfu. After making a 4s pair and a pinzu ryanmen, Miura gets to tenpai and calls riichi on a 25p ryanmen, wanting the 2p for an additional han. Two turns later, Miura draws the 2p and wins the hand. Miura wins with Riichi/Tsumo/Pinfu/Tanyao/Iipeikou for 4,000+300 all plus two riichi sticks, moving into 1st place.
Uchikawa

In S1-5, Uchikawa is in 2nd place after being passed by Miura the previous hand. Uchikawa trails Miura by 4,900.
Uchikawa starts out the hand at 4-shanten with a connected dora 5m. His hand also has a lot of edge shapes, being an 8p, 7s and 7m away from a 789 sanshoku. In the first row, he makes a pair of 6s and gets both the 7s and 8p to get to iishanten. In the middle of the second row, Uchikawa draws the 7m and waits dama on a 47m ryanmen, guaranteed a mangan if he wins.

At the end of the second row, Kobayashi gets to tenpai and calls riichi on a 25s ryanmen.

Calling chii on Kobayashi’s riichi tile, Kayamori gets to tenpai on a 7m kanchan.

With the advancement of the others, Uchikawa decides to call riichi, needing an additional han on top of it for a haneman. With the riichi calls on both sides, Kayamori folds. Miura, on the other hand, pushes his hand and gets to tenpai on a 47s ryanmen.

Right after, Kobayashi draws and discards the 4m, dealing into Uchikawa. Uchikawa wins the hand with Riichi/Pinfu/Sanshoku/Dora 1 for 8,000+1,500 plus a riichi stick, moving into 1st place.
