  • June 10, 2022: Asakura Koushin and Ishibashu Nobuhiro are dropped by the U-Next Pirates
  • June 30, 2022: Sawazaki Makoto is dropped by the Kadokawa Sakura Knights so he can focus on his hospital recovery
  • July 11, 2022: Suzuki Yu and Nakabayashi Kei are drafted by the U-Next Pirates and Shibukawa Nanba is drafted by the Kadokawa Sakura Knights at the M-League 2022-23 Draft
  • August 26, 2022: M-League publishes the season’s 188-game schedule and announces a 30-game semifinals and 16-game finals.
  • September 9, 2022: The uniforms for all eight M-League teams are revealed
  • October 3, 2022: The M-League 2022-23 regular season begins and Date Arisa wins a suuankou in the second game of the season
  • November 7, 2022: Kurosawa Saki wins the first game with a record-breaking 112,300 with 10 honba in South 4, while Shibukawa Nanba lost with a record-breaking -47,600
  • December 26, 2022: Tojo Rio wins the Nissin-sponsored Mahjong Alien vs. Earth Defenders special match
  • February 14, 2023: Nikaido Aki wins a suuankou tanki off of Uotani Yuumi
  • February 23, 2023: Sonoda Ken wins a kokushi off of Hori Shingo
  • March 2, 2023: Takamiya Mari wins a suunankou by tsumo, the third yakuman in the league in as many weeks
  • March 6, 2023: Due to the headbump rule, Nakabayashi Kei loses a kokushi to a 3-han hand
  • March 21, 2023: The M-League 2022-23 regular season ends with the Sega Sammy Phoenix and Akasaka Drivens being eliminated
  • March 23, 2023: Murakami Jun wins the Nissin-sponsored Noodle Rice special match
  • April 10, 2023: The M-League 2022-23 semifinals begin
  • May 4, 2023: The M-League 2022-23 semifinals end with the Kadokawa Sakura Knights and U-Next Pirates being eliminated
  • May 8, 2023: The M-League 2022-23 finals begin
  • May 16, 2023: Takizawa Kazunori wins a suuankou by tsumo, the fifth yakuman of the season
