In E1-0, Asami is in the west seat and starts off 2-shanten with a decent chance at pinfu and tanyao. By turn 2, Asami has pinfu basically guaranteed. At the end of the first row, Asami gets a 4s pair for iishanten.
Two turns into the second row, Asami gets to tenpai and calls riichi on a 47p ryanmen. If she wins on the 4p, she will add a 456 sanshoku for mangan minimum.

To her right, Hinata has a hand with pinfu and tanyao chances as well. After breaking the east pair to avoid dealing in, she ends up going to iishanten with tanyao guaranteed. After creating a 567s sequence (saving the red 5s) and a 7p pair, Hinata gets to tenpai and calls riichi on a 25p ryanmen.

But, Hinata doesn’t even get a chance at another draw. On Asami’s turn, she draws the perfect 4p and wins the hand. With an uradora hit, Asami wins the hand with Riichi/Tsumo/Pinfu/Sanshoku/Ura 1 for 3,000/6,000 plus a riichi stick.

In E3-1, Hagiwara is in 3rd place, 2,500 behind 2nd place Asakura and 25,800 behind 1st place dealer Asami.
Hagiwara starts off already 2-shanten with a two completes sequence, a 25m ryanmen, a pair of norths and a floating 3s dora. On turn 3, he draws a 2m for iishanten. Over the next few turns he keeps missing tenpai, despite having 11 different types of tiles that can get him to tenpai.
Then, in the middle of the second row, Hagiwara pairs up the 3s dora and calls riichi on a north/1s shanpon. In the third row, he draws the north and wins the hand. With the big flip, Hagiwara’s norths become the new dora to upgrade him to a haneman. Hagiwara wins the hand with Riichi/Tsumo/Dora 2/Ura 3 for 3000+100/6,000+100.

At the end of the first row, Asakura gets to tenpai on a 6p/6m shanpon and stays dama, still wanting a good wait. A turn later, he gets the better wait and calls riichi on a 25m ryanmen, guaranteed at least a haneman.

Aikawa starts out the hand at 4-shanten with a pair of red dragons as potential value. In the first row, she makes a bit of advancement, including filling in a 7s penchan, but is uninspiring as she gets to 2-shanten.
Around the table, though, Shimoishi is already iishanten having called the green dragon and holds a connected red 5m double dora. Uchikawa is iishanten as well, holding a good chance at a good wait. In the second row, Shimoishi calls a 456m chii and gets to tenpai on a 3s tanki. In the middle of the row, he switches to a 25m ryanmen wait.

In Aikawa’s hand, she has a floating 5m dora. To try and stays safe and stall, she drops her red dragon pair, then her 2p pair. Before the row is done, Aikawa pairs up the 5m, creates a 789p sequence and calls riichi on a 58s ryanmen, guaranteed at least a mangan.

On Shimoishi’s turn, he draws a green dragon and calls an added kan.It doesn’t help him, but Aikawa now has another chance at uradora.
Within the go-around, Uchikawa chases with a 25m wait of his own. If Aikawa draws and discards it while in riichi, Uchikawa will be headbumped by more expensive dealer Shimoishi.

Aikawa has no worries about that, though, as Aikawa draws the 8s immediately after and wins the hand. Aikawa wins with Riichi/Tsumo/Pinfu/Dora 2/Ura 1 for 3,000/6,000 plus a riichi stick, taking her into 2nd place.

Instead, he chooses to break his 3s pair. Having a floating 3s and 5m, he tries to go for a wider wait and the possibility of pinfu as well.
In the middle of the second row, though, he ends up pairing up the 5m pair instead. With the hand now halfway finished, he decides to call riichi and try to win with what he has.

A few turns later, Taro gets to tenpai and chases with a 58p ryanmen. With a triplet of 2m dora in his hand, he is guaranteed a mangan.

Within the go-around, Setokuma discards the 9m (a safe tile against Taro and a newly-formed suji against Nakabayashi) deals into Nakabayashi. Nakabayashi wins the hand with Riichi/Aka 1/Ura 1 for 7,700 plus a riichi stick.
